This year Laurentide was selected as a finalist in the National Small Business Champions Awards.
It was a first time entry for us and we didn’t quite get the enormity of what we had achieved just by being selected a finalist. With only 8 others in our category “Business Services” we thought we had a chance.
So on Saturday 5th April 2014, Tina & Kevin got dolled up and attended the gala event held at the Grand Ballroom at the Westin Hotel in Martin Place.
Wow what a big night! Over 1,000 people were in attendance and over 38 industries represented. Gretel Killeen was the Master of Ceremonies and she kept the speeches and audience under control.
Unfortunately this year we didn't win, but we had a great time and got to meet a lot of small business owners.
